Best of 2010 - #22

Hurley marks Weezer first release for Epitaph records, an indie label that has put a lot of influential punk rock over the past decade plus. It seems to have charged Weezer up, putting out a very strong record that hearkens back to their earlier work. From the incredibly hook filled Hang On (my favorite on the album) to the buzzing guitars and chugging groove of Brave New World, let's hope the energy on this album continues forward.
