Rhett Miller and the boys in the Old 97's have put out an album that doesn't quite reach the heights of their earlier albums, but this one comes pretty close. With Rhett's vocals out front and the harmonies from the rest of the band, their sound is pretty unforgettable. Highlight track for me is Every Night Is Friday Night. The shouted chorus, propulsive beat and sly lyrics make this one that sticks in your brain.
